Junior High— 7th & 8th Grades

English:   This curriculum is designed to give students the tools they need to write and speak clearly and effectively.  Its objectives are to: sharpen thinking skills; increase ability to read; educate students in traditional grammar; increase writing, speaking and reading vocabularies; and teach essential research skills.
Mathematics:  The 7th grade course  reviews all arithmetic concepts and emphasizes mastering and applying percents.  Other branches of mathematics introduced are  pre-algebra, geometry and statistics.  The 8th Grade course is Pre-Algebra, and much of the course focuses on algebra and related topics such as scientific notation, geometry and statistics.
 
History/Geography:  Both American and World History are taught.  These textbooks bring to life famous people, scientific advances, major events, travel, and communication.  Geography is taught through map studies.
Science/Health:  Students are taught the study of soil science, plants, the human body, physical science, weather, classification, astronomy, electricity and magnetism.
Bible:  Daily devotional studies from the Bible are part of each classroom.  Weekly chapels challenge the students to know God better.
Physical Education:  Bi-weekly classes teach the value of physical activity.  Team sports are also available to 7th & 8th grade students.
Chorus:  Bi-weekly classes are offered which teach a variety of music styles ranging from traditional to modern, sacred and secular.   Two concerts are performed annually.

ABC-123: Introduces number concepts and the formation of numbers 1-20.
Writing with Phonics: Sample letters appear exactly as they are to be written.  Printing is taught at the preschool level.
Readiness Skills:  Coloring pages, and other activities help the child to develop writing readiness, hand-eye coordination, visual perception, listening and thinking skills.
Reading:  Full color books that are delightfully illustrated start beginner readers off with very basic vowel sounds and then on to consonants, blends, words, and simple sentences.
Bible:  Lessons from the Bible are taught daily.  Scripture verses are also taught.
Chorus:  Bi-weekly classes teach a variety of musical selections.

All preschool students must be four by December 1 of the year they plan to enroll.

Language Arts:   This curriculum is designed to give students the tools they need to write and speak clearly and effectively.  Its objectives are to: sharpen thinking skills; increase ability to read; educate students in traditional grammar; increase writing, speaking and reading vocabularies; and teach essential research skills.
Mathematics:  This course of study teaches students all of the basic skills.  Each class builds upon principles learned earlier.  Addition and subtraction facts, multiplication and division tables, fractions, algebra, decimals, geometry, percents, charts are covered.
History/Geography:  Both American and World History are taught.  These textbooks bring to life famous people, scientific advances, major events, travel and communication.  Geography is taught through map studies.
Science/Health:  Students enjoy studying plants, animals, insects, energy, health, the seasons, and are thrilled to see the plan of God as it is revealed in His orderly creation.
Bible:  Daily devotional studies from the Bible are part of each classroom.  Weekly chapels challenge the students to know God better.
Physical Education:  Bi-weekly classes teach the value of physical activity.  Hand-eye coordination, balance and dexterity are emphasized, as well as learning the importance of  team play.
Chorus:  Bi-weekly classes teach a variety of music styles ranging from traditional to modern, sacred and secular. 
Art/Library:  During art class, students are introduced to creative art projects which teach various visual concepts.  On library day, students have the opportunity to check books out of the school library as well as listen to stories read aloud

Grades K-6 are taught using Bob Jones curriculum.

Preschool

Kindergarten—6th Grade
